SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms apply when you choose to receive text messages from Empowered By Knowledge, Inc. Enrollment is voluntary and is not a condition of making a donation, purchasing anything, or participating in a program.
Program description
Text messages may include responses to your inquiry, registration or event reminders, scheduling information, program updates, donation or sponsorship information, and other messages related to your relationship with Empowered By Knowledge, Inc.
Consent and eligibility
By checking the SMS consent box, submitting a form, or otherwise providing valid consent, you authorize Empowered By Knowledge, Inc. to send text messages to the mobile number you provided. Consent applies only to the number provided. You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number and are authorized to provide consent. If the number belongs to a minor, a parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out and help
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation message. For help, reply HELP, email info@empoweredbyknowledgeinc.org, or call 336-934-5236. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us so messages are not sent to another person.
Privacy and sharing
We use mobile information to operate the messaging program and communicate with you. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with service providers that support message delivery or when required by law. Availability and changes
Text messaging may not be available on all devices or carriers and may be interrupted. We may modify or discontinue the program, and we may update these terms by posting a revised version and updated date.
